At Messko we are experts

At Messko we are experts when it comes to solutions around transformers. Customers all over the world rely on our professional competence, quality and reliability. It all started with oil level and temperature indicators for transformer manufacturers, utilities and industrial customers. Nowadays pressure relief devices, dehydrating breathers and electronic thermometers have been added, just to mention a few. And within the Reinhausen group we are the centre of excellence regarding sensor technology. Together with our customers, we are steadily expanding our product range. Water in the desert, 11-01-2007

As you can see on the pictures, water had dropped out of the sinter metal filter at the bottom. Some might already have been dried, even if this inhouse substation has moderate temperatures. The Sharjah emirate lies in the United Arab Emirates and therefore in a region which is quite hot. You definitely see the water in the interior, which has condensed at the Duran® glass. It shows that a heating process, which is initiated by the electronic control, has taken place. This means that a certain value of humidity had been reached and therefore the silica gel had got to be dried. This feature, that the heating process is based on the condition of the silica gel, is unique in the world.

MTeC® - EPT202

MTeC® - EPT202 (digital thermometer with load-dependent cooler control) combines numerous features for temperature monitoring of power transformers. You get the indication and monitoring of one oil- and winding temperature on the basic device. Min and max. temperature values as also the air flow are recorded and can be retrieved later. Remote indication of the temperature values is possible via two analogue outputs and one RS485 interface. This is the Messko approach: targeted supervision and reduction of your power transformers' load.

DEETAP® U

Off-circuit tap-changers (OCTC) are used for voltage adjustment in oil-immersed transformers. In contrast to on-load tap-changers, off-circuit tap-changers require setting of the desired winding tap while the transformer is deactivated and off-load.
